December 5, 2004From spending half of the day looking for information about the chemical on the web, I can safely say that there is entirely too much literature about dioxin out there.I've decided to stop working on the paper now. It's almost done, definitely long enough already. Just have to add info from one book and get my presentation together tomorrow. I have to give a presentation of my paper on Tuesday (but, strangely, the paper is "due" on Thursday, with "due" meaning that it will be accepted without penalty up to a week after Thursday). I'm thinking about using the chalkboard to make up a little scoreboard: those who think dioxin is the worst chemical known to man vs. those who think it's only a minor nuisance. Let the class decide what's what. Today was the first time in a long while that I spent the entire day in my room writing a paper. I didn't take any classes this term that require writing papers, so I've forgotten what it feels like. When it goes well, like it did today, if feels good :)
