October 8, 2007Now that someone is sending readers my way, I feel the urge to update. This weekend, I went to the U.S. National Arboretum in D.C. Orchid Mania had taken over the arboretum, as the National Capital Orchid Society presented its 60th annual orchid show and sale. Photos below. The gift shop featured postcards and bookmarks from YourTrueNature. These paper products give you "Advice from a" hummingbird, tree, garden, etc. I checked out their website, and I think my favorites are the advice from a bat and a polar bear. Advice from a Bat Trust in your sense. Spend time just hanging out with friends. Don't be afraid of the dark. Get a grip. Enjoy the nightlife. Sometimes you've just gotta wing it. Guano happens! Advice from a Polar Bear Live large. Be thick-skinned. Sniff out opportunities. Learn some good icebreakers. Appreciate long winter nights. Be fearless. Keep it cool! |
