Interest rates shoot way up in the first half of 2005. A lot of people sitting on multiple thousands in credit card debt go bust... End of housing bubble... Impressive job loss. Ultimately, deflationary depression. Everybody will blame George W." -on the other hand, Michael Crichton says we need to stop worrying about everything from pencil shavings to global warming -1 octopus, 2 octopii? -1 campus, 2 campuses? -1 focus, 2 foci? -what is the difference between and octopus and an octopod? (no not the pacific northwest tree octopus shush) -Scott's quiz-o-fun question from Nov 30: Q: It is likely that the originator of "deplane" did not intend the word to be the negation of a verb "plane." Name another. -my answers: Deny. Defer. Demand. :D awesome *** I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, Just like the ones I used to know, Where the tree tops glisten, And children listen, To hear sleighbells in the snow... I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, With every Christmas card I write, May your days be merry and bright, And may all your Christmases be white... |
