Here at AK, we are all about baby steps. Preparation for a great trip is no exception.
Today, I had my hair cut. Nothing drastic, just the usual trim, but just enough to give me that sense of newness before embarking on an awesome journey.
Another tangible step: purchasing tickets for the train ride from Paris to London.
I kept clothes on the back burner throughout the day, taking a second here and there to add another article to my mental suitcase. An email from Nik, who I'll be seeing in Paris, helped with this aspect of the planning.
I thought about a real suitcase, and I even made a trip into the basement to look for one. Sadly, no luck -- I remembered they were all in the garage, and you know I am not making that trip in the dark by myself. Where is Slav when I need him most.
