December 15, 2003Getting desperate in my search for good sneakers, I ventured outside of Nike and into Adidas online territory just seconds ago. A list of links at the top of the page:Home Products Sports Athletes Adizone Sign Up Shop I let my pointer roll over the links until I come to Athletes, at which time I get a new list of links. The 1st two I see are: Anna David 1st I think, wtf. Next I think, whoa since when are both my father and I signed up as members of adidas.com, assuming that listing registered members' names (maybe grouped under 1 email address or something) is some marketing strategy, and when you click on your name, you get a list of items you viewed/bought recently, like on Amazon. Then I see Martina and finally think, oh I am retarded, a suspicion that is confirmed once I actually click on Anna and David. Not me & my father. haha. Although he did play soccer as child, and can really book it when the need arises. |
