April 24, 2004The evening with V+Mich went like so:-shopping for DT costumes at Downtown Crossing -dinner at Pho Pasteur (excellent pork) -missing Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind -watching Monster's Ball -chilling with Burton kids in V's room while a massive party on the floor was halted by the PO-lice I'm too tired to elaborate, but a couple things I want to get to tomorrow: -summer reading list -Monster's Ball flew by, I was ready to watch it all over right away, soundtrack excellent -being impressed with Halle Berry, reminded of Charlize Theron's performance in Monster -wondering why it's so impressive and fascinating to watch two beautiful, talented, and gracious women turn into characters that are a rung down in terms of beauty/intelligence/grace, if not downright hideous creatures -reflecting w/V on the difference a non-MIT college experience would have made I couldn't find music to match my mood tonight. Ideally, Kazaa would have given me the Monster's Ball soundtrack, but yes, not so much. Instead I found this: Song: Ballade No.2 in F Major Artist: The Pianist haha. "The Pianist" is a good "pen name" for a masked musician. It would stir up noise!! Reminds me of The Shadow. More tomorrow... AND I got the Summer RA position. Anna = sugar mama. Suuuugar. |
