Snow Day.

I love the snow at home because Columbia completely shuts down, and I can stay inside all day. Here, I actually have to maneuver in the outdoors during snowy days, and not in a fun playing in the snow sort of way. The streets are soggy, the drainage system along Mass Ave is intolerable.
After class at Harvard this morning, I was walking to the bus stop when I saw a blind girl crossing the street. How could she have known that the two feet of street before the sidewalk were a small lake? Her shoes were not boots, just regular women's flats. She stepped right into the puddle.
I love winter and snow, but not like this.
...Although, the gates and trees on the Harvard campus, when lined with snow, are beautiful :)
