I know it's hard to believe, but some TV is just so good.
Just watched last night's episode of Arrested Development. Before a snippet of dialogue, the deal: Job recently discovered that he has a son. He tries to describe the feeling he is experiencing to his brother, Michael. Michael tries to help in identifying the mysterious new feeling.
Michael: Maybe it's love? Job: I know what an erection feels like, Michael.
I love this show. During one of my trips to NY this summer, I caught a weekday matinee showing of Glengarry Glen Ross on Broadway. First there was the play, the movie came out in 92, and recently they revived the play on Broadway. Jeffrey Tambor, who plays George Bluth on Arrested Development, played George Aaronow in the play this summer -- and he was great. Alan Arkin played that character in the movie version.
Three cheers for good tv.
