January 6, 2005I'm like Barbershop 2: back in binness.I know some of the ladies out there like Ice Cube. I actually enjoyed him in the movie, even though I was haunted by the fact that he was involved with Torque. My man, what were you thinking? Cedric was his usual self: either funny or incomprehensible, and even when incomprehensible I knew he was being funy, ha. Michael Ealy was unquestionably the most attractive of the barbershop bunch. During the movie, he was studying for the GEDs. A boy who totes around math books. What more could a girl want? I took Ricky's Player Challenge on the Barbershop 2 website. "RICKY SAYS YOU ARE DEFINITELY A PLAYER." And that's after answering C to the following question: QUESTION #01 Your idea of a good night is... A. Playing hoops with your boys. B. Clubbin' it up 'till dawn. C. Taking it slow with a good book. See, if they had a club where you could wear sneakers, I'd be there every Fri night. Sugar Shack is supposed to be more casual than others, so I'll have to make some DT people check it out with me sometime. P.S. One of the Baltimore Sun movie critics listed Barbershop 2 in his top movies of 2004. Help a sister out? *** Now this is the story all about how, My life got flipped, turned upside down, And I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there, I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air... |
