March 1, 2005Best acceptance speech:Jorge Drexler accepted the Oscar for best original song for "Al Otro Lado Del Rio" from "The Motorcycle Diaries" by singing the song. Funniest acceptance speech: The guy who said, "I don't want to use up all my time, I want to leave the stage." hahaha. Most beautiful dress: Charlize Theron? Strangest guests: Usher, Prince, and Jay-Z. At least that last one was the date of someone actually involved in the production. Most original dress: Kate Winslet, Halle Berry. Most alarming dress: Renee Zellweger. The whole ensemble was alarming. Ms. Z with her jet black hair and once more thing figure reminded me of a vampire. Most flattering to the boobies dress: Catalina Sandino Moreno. Most unflattering to the boobies dress(es!): Zana Briski, Gwyneth Paltrow, Natalie Portman. Dress I still can't understand: Hilary Swank. Most ridiculous makeup: Beyonce. Strangest male outfit: Johnny Depp. Funniest outfit description: "Sean Combs in his own tux." hahaha. Funniest name of date: January Jones, date of singer Josh Groban. Does that sound like somebody's porn name, or is it just me? Best of Beyonce's THREE songs: The one with Josh Groban. Most awkward moment: Adam Sandler fumbling on stage as his co-presenter Catherine Zeta-Jones fails to show. Most shocking moment: During the tribute to Sidney Lumet, a snippet from one of his new movies was shown: Find Me Guilty starring a Vin Diesel as a lawyer with super weird balding red hair.
